Cookie Policy

Last updated: 3 July 2026

Rowpa uses only essential cookies required for the platform to work. We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or tracking pixels. There is nothing to opt out of because we do not track you.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your web browser. They are used to remember your preferences, keep you logged in, and help websites function correctly.

2. Cookies we use

We use only the following cookies, all of which are strictly necessary for the Service to function:

Cookie namePurposeTypeDurationSet by
sb-*-auth-tokenStores your authentication session so you stay logged in. Without this cookie, you would need to re-authenticate on every page load.EssentialSession / 7 daysSupabase
sb-*-auth-token-code-verifierUsed during the magic link login process (PKCE flow) to verify the authentication request is legitimate.EssentialSessionSupabase
cookie_consentRecords that you have seen and acknowledged the cookie notice, so it is not shown again.Essential365 daysRowpa

3. Cookies we do not use

For the avoidance of doubt, Rowpa does not use:

  • Analytics cookies (no Google Analytics, no Hotjar, no Mixpanel)
  • Advertising cookies (no Meta Pixel, no Google Ads, no TikTok Pixel)
  • Social media cookies (no Facebook, LinkedIn, or Twitter tracking)
  • Third-party tracking pixels of any kind

We practise what we preach. As a GDPR compliance platform, we have designed our own technology stack to minimise personal data processing.

4. Preferences stored on your device

The app stores two small preferences in your browser's local storage: your theme choice (light, dark or system) and whether the navigation sidebar is collapsed. These never leave your device, contain nothing about you, and exist only so the app looks the way you left it.

5. Page counting (no cookies involved)

We count page views on our marketing site so we know which pages are read. Here is everything the counter records: the page path, the referring website's domain, and the date. That is the entire list. No cookies are set or read, no IP address is stored, no browser fingerprint is taken, and there is no identifier of any kind, so two visits from you look identical to two visits from strangers.

The Data (Use and Access) Act 2025 permits aggregate analytics without consent provided the use is explained and an opt-out is offered. Our counter does not even reach the threshold where that exception is needed, but we honour its conditions anyway:

Page counting on this browser: on

The switch above stores your choice in your browser's local storage and is honoured immediately. Pages inside the app (your dashboard) are never counted at all.

6. Legal basis

All cookies used by Rowpa are strictly necessary for the provision of the service you have requested. Under Regulation 6 of the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR), strictly necessary cookies do not require consent.

We display a cookie notice for transparency, not because we are required to obtain consent for these cookies.

7. How to manage cookies

You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings. However, if you block essential cookies, you will not be able to log in to Rowpa.

Browser-specific instructions:

  • Google Chrome
  • Firefox
  • Safari
  • Microsoft Edge

8. Changes to this policy

If we introduce any new cookies (for example, analytics cookies in the future), we will update this policy and, where required, obtain your consent before setting them.
